I use the Glimp Pebbles almost every day, both for myself and my husband. But certainly also in my practice as a respiratory physiologist. What makes the biggest difference for me is that I don't have to count anymore. Vibration guidance feels much more natural and calming than hard beats or timers. All you have to do is feel. I can lie down with my eyes closed and stay fully engaged while the Pebbles set the rhythm. The options for setting the breathing exercises are very versatile, a suitable exercise for everyone at the moment. This works great for me and my clients. I bought these because I was easily overstimulated. And then had to go to bed with medication to recover. For example, after shopping. Now, when I get home, I'll grab the pebbles. And within fifteen minutes, I will be able to function again. I think it's a special breathing tool. It shows nicely through the vibration when you need to put in or out. Regular relaxation exercises or meditation. Never achieved this result.

I was pleasantly surprised that my Pebbles breathing tool was repaired free of charge—it turned out to be covered by the warranty. The repair was quick, and I received it back in no time. I personally find Pebbles more comfortable than Moonbird. It fits better in the hand, and the difference between inhaling and exhaling is clearer because you hold a Pebble in each hand. Moonbird is also a good tool, but Pebbles works better for me. Highly recommended!

No, the Pebbles are designed for complete silence in the bedroom. They work with tactile vibrations (haptic feedback) instead of sound. So you can use them undisturbed while your partner sleeps quietly next to you.

Can I hold the Pebbles while I fall asleep?

The Pebbles are designed to help your body “land” and prepare for the night. They're ideal as part of your wind-down routine. Because they rest comfortably in your palms, you can safely hold them while you doze off.

At the end of an offline session, the Pebbles switch themselves off automatically. So you don't have to worry about them staying on all night; you can just leave them alone and go to sleep undisturbed.

Why is this more effective than a meditation app on my phone?

Screen light (blue light) inhibits the production of melatonin, the hormone you need to fall asleep. With the Pebbles, you don't have to touch your phone. You close your eyes and let your sense of touch guide you, giving your brain an immediate signal that it is time to “go out”.
